A renewable energy tech company, Fermata Energy unlocks the value of EV batteries by leveraging them to provide flexible and affordable energy storage for the electricity grid. Because EVs remain parked and unused much of the time, they are an underutilized asset. EV fleet owners can earn revenue from their local utility or save on their electricity bill by sending some of the energy stored in EV batteries to the grid (V2G) or to a building (V2B).
